Who Is Franklyn Akinyosoye

Franklyn is a graduate of over 29 years, with a second-class upper division; he was the best graduating student in his department. Has an MBA and MSC and a Doctorate in Business Administration.  A Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultant (FIMC). A Fellow Certified Management Consultant (CMC). Associate of Chartered Institute of Personnel management, A CMD accredited Trainer. Member Institute of Director (MIoD). Accredited BDSP. Currently President of the Association of Business Development Professionals in Nigeria. BDSP to BOI and BOA. ISO-9001-2018, ISO- 9001=2015 certified and Ecowas/Nigeria Quality Award Assessor on ISO (first of its kind in Nigeria). Harvard and Warwick trained Consultant. He worked as a marketer in a Petroleum Peddling coy, Cornerstone Insurance Plc as a marketer where he grew to the position of Assistant Manager, Standard Trust Bank (UBA) and then Devcom Bank (ETB) as an Assistant Manager in 2000 in the Business Devt unit. He started (2002) Dil Consulting and later Mecerconsulting, a consultancy outfit of repute in Abuja. He is currently the Managing Consultant and has been involved in the transformation and re-engineering of several companies ranging from small scale to medium scale, amongst them are MSMEs and SMEs Companies (e.g. MFBs, Mortgage, Institutions, Property companies (SMES), FMCG, Book houses, Furniture, Water, Printing and Publishing companies, Insurance brokerage outfits, Finance houses) and some MDAs. He has been successful helping clients invest, sell, market, acquire financial institutions and other companies. He has excelled in Marketing, strategies, structuring and securing facilities for clients, organizing investment seminars, promotions and creating investment windows. He is also a motivational speaker, versatile trainer and leader; He is a trainer per excellence. He has trained over 50,000 people in the last 18 years in: HR, Management, Customer Service, HSSE, ISO Certification. ISO/Nigerian Quality Award, IT, Accounting, Engineering, Project Management, Vocational training, Marketing, management, Leadership, Banking, Entrepreneurship, Skill acquisition etc. Dil/Mecerconsulting, are well known for various trainings, empowerment and SMEs programs in Abuja. The company is BDSP to Smedan, bank of Industry, Bank of Agric and Abuja Enterprise agency. He has attended several consulting and management training programs both in Nigeria and abroad, including a certificate course from Harvard and Warwick Business Schools. He has also been involved/worked with UNDP, World bank, USAID, DFID, JIDA, ICRC, CIDA and various other international Organizations on various projects ranging from training (management, Finance, SME devt and entrepreneurship, Retirement and empowerment programs) recruitment, Project monitoring to research. He has over 18 years’ experience in General Business Consulting (GBC). He has worked with and worked for SME related agencies, SMEDAN, UNIDO, UNDP, NDE, AEA, NAPEP on training, sensitization, partnership, policy development and implementation.

He is a passionate speaker, inspirational teacher, a motivator, mentor, coach and a counselor. He speaks and train every week. He speaks for and to diverse groups from individuals, corporate entities, churches, ministries, NGOs, full gospel groups, youth associations, societies, rotary clubs, JCIs etc. He has been training and speaking to groups and corporate entities since 2000. He has trained and spoken to over 40,000 individuals directly in the last 20 years.

His method of delivery is unique; his story telling ability is second to none. Those who have heard him speak cannot just disconnect, his passionate and technique of connecting with people go a long way to making desired impact. He is a member of Toastmasters International. He is a straight from the heart, high energy, passionate and result oriented speaker. And his impartation and delivery is professional.

The message and delivery techniques inspires, motivates and engages all audiences helping them step into greatness or improve performance.

He is involved with the mentoring of over fifty (50) youths in Abuja, using football, weekly speaking and training as a tool.

He a member of the board of directors of several companies ranging from Microfinance Bank, Higher Institution, Certification and Accreditation Institute, Consulting firms, Property Companies etc. He is married with kids.
